SOMATOM go. UI Navigation for Physicists Step by Step

SOMATOM go. UI Navigation Tool for Physicists With the introduction to our new SOMATOM go. systems there is a new software interface that may be unfamiliar to most. With strict quality control regulations in place by hospital, state, and country, physics testing on these systems has become an annual requirement. Due to this, physicists are required to run tests on the go. systems and may not be familiar with the software. These tests include CTDI dose measurement testing and require specific protocols to be used for this testing. The purpose of this how-to-workflow is to show physicists how to access hidden, dedicated testing protocols for CTDI measurement testing on the SOMATOM go. system. The steps covered in this guide (and video) will show one how to un-hide CTDI measurement protocols for both adult and pediatric body and head modes. The guide (and video) will further show the steps to register a patient, choosing the CTDI protocol(s) and selecting the various parameter settings for any protocol modification purposes. The user can then proceed to acquire the scan for testing. NOTE: Prior to initiating this task, ensure that you have acquired the Super User login credentials from the Lead Technologist or designated resource in order to complete this task. This will include the login ID and password. 1. Log in as a super user by selecting the drop down list in the top right corner. From the drop down list, select Super User.
