A dialog box with shut down options appears. New Patient Press the Patient Registration key on the keyboard to register a new patient, 2 Registration schedule a patient, and modify information for a registered patient. 2D-mode (two-dimensional) allows for brightness and gray scale optimization. 3 2D Control Rotate the 2D Control to increase / decrease the overall 2D gain. 2D 4D-mode (four-dimensional), also called 4D volume imaging, supports 4 4D Control acquisition and simultaneous viewing of volumetric ultrasound imaging in real-time. 4D Applies color to indicate velocities of blood flow in a defined region of Color Flow interest (ROI) within a 2D or 4D image. 5 Doppler Rotate the Color Flow Doppler Control to increase / decrease overall color C Doppler gain. PW (Spectral Activates the 2D image and Doppler spectrum. The cursor represents the 6 Doppler) acoustic line along which the sample volume gathers Doppler information. Freeze / Cine Press the Caliper key to activate or deactivate the measurement function on 9 Caliper On / Off a frozen image. A generic or calculated measurement may be performed. Clip Capture Press the Clip Capture key to acquire and save a clip or volume to the 10 system’s internal hard drive. 11 Image Store Press the Image Store key to store a still /frozen image to the system’s internal hard drive.
