ACUSON Bonsai™ Ultrasound System Strain

We're going to run through the workflow of the strain software on the Acuson Bonsai. To save time, we've already analyzed a four chamber Anna two chamber view. And we're going to run through the apical long axis. In review I'm going to double click on the apical long axis view. A few considerations about your imaging is to make sure that you've captured 3 beats and that you have an ECG or the string software will not track. It's also important that you see in the entire myocardium, and that there's no lateral translation or motion to the LV in your capture. When you're ready to enter the software, choose your cursor. On the left sided user interface, choose tissue tracking. Now I've entered the software and I'm going to use the soft keys at the top of the system. The first thing you would want to do is pick the view the system does fall to the anterior long axis view. If you were in the four chamber or two chamber, you would want to cycle to that view. The next thing is, how are you going to do your contour? The system defaults to a 3 point autotrace. You do have the ability to do a manual trace as well. I'm going to use the trackball to pick the frame. And then when I'm ready, I'm going to select my cursor. And then I'm gonna mark my three points. It is important to mark the left sided wall first, the annulus. The right sided wall, second at the annulus and then mark the apex. After the auto contour is complete, you have a couple of options to edit the contour. To adjust the thickness only of the epicardium. You can use. This soft key. To adjust any point. Take your trackball. And double click and you can move a segment of the contour. When you're satisfied with the contour trace, we're going to start tracking with this soft key. After this system does the tracking algorithm. And you have verified that you accept. Then you're going to choose the accept and compute. If you still need to make changes, you still have a few options. If you want to start completely over, you can use the clear key to erase, or you can actually freeze and adjust the contour. Again, I'm going to accept. The system defaults to a speed waveform. And since we're doing Lanja Tude Inal strain, I'm going to toggle to the lanja Tude Inal stream waveform. At this point, you can still clear. You can edit. Or you can simply accept and move on to your bowels, IE. It is important to store your waveform image. And then when you're ready, Bullseye is here.
