ACUSON Juniper™ Ultrasound System - VB10 | Upgrade This online training will provide information about the VB10 system upgrade available for the ACUSON Juniper system. Note that not all options are available in all countries. There is no audio accompanying this online training. The objectives are listed below. Select Next to proceed. Identify new transducers & improvements to existing transducers 1 2 Review key enhancements and new tools Welcome Clinical Workflow Enhancements Contrast-Enhancement for Left Ventricular Opacification (LVO) When clinically indicated, contrast-enhancement for LVO can improve the detection of the endocardial border and may facilitate accurate wall motion assessment. [1,2] When image quality is impacted by a technically difficult echocardiogram, LVO can help with clinical management and reduce repeat exams. [1-3] ? Jonathan R. Clinical Workflow Enhancements Enhancements to Cardiac Tools Added tool - Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area (PISA) radius The PISA tool has been added and is used clinically to measure Aortic and Tricuspid Insufficiency. eSie Left Heart™ measurement package The eSie Left Heart package has been upgraded to auto detect the endocardial boarder at apical two-chamber and apical four-chamber views to calculate left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). Auto detection of the endocardial border helps to reduce manual planimetry for LVEF. This will help to improve the accuracy of LVEF. syngo® Velocity Vector Imaging™ (VVI) technology Workflow improvements have been made to syngo VVI to aid in evaluating myocardial motion, global longitudinal strain (GLS) and circumferential strain. Along with an accurate LVEF, reporting and monitoring GLS and circumferential strain can provide a useful clinical observation of heart function for a patient over time. ?
