User Interface | Retractable Keyboard ? 7VC2 | New Transducer Redwood VA2.0 features an automated 3D/4D transducer that supports Gynecology, Obstetrics, Abdominal, and General exam types. 7V2 | New Transducer ? 9VE4 | New Transducer The Redwood VA2.0 offers this new intracavity transducer that has excellent 2D image quality and features automated 3D/4D imaging. In addition, this transducer supports Obstetrics, Early OB, Gynecology, and General exam types. 9VE4 | New Transducer ? 9EC4 | New Transducer General, Early OB, Gynecology, and Prostate exams are now supported using the 9EC4 transducer. Freehand 3D is supported while in the Gynecology application. 9EC4 | New Transducer 18H6 | New Transducer Clinical Applications include Superficial Musculoskeletal and Pediatric Thyroid. At the time of publication, the United States Food and Drug Administration has cleared contrast agents only for use in left ventricular opacifications (LVO), liver, and vesicourethral reflux (VUR). ? Patient Banner | Still Images All information displayed on the patient banner will be overlaid on exported still images and DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) unless De-identified on Export. De-Identifying Steps To de-identify patient banner information: Select Review from the Touch Screen and choose Export Choose the export format Beneath Identification, check the De-identify Rename the file or choose the default label Anonymous Click or tap the Export menu to zoom in and review the De-identify features. Click or tap once more to close the menu. Patient Banner | Still Images ? Arrow Configuration Update The user can to save the last Arrow (type, color and size) that was placed before exiting. Arrow Configuration Update ? Annotation Option Added The user can select the default Annotation (Text, Body, or Arrow) or return to the last Annotation used. These choices are located in System Configuration under Custom Keys, then select ‘Remember the last selection,’ Text, Body Marker, or Arrow. Annotations and Arrows ? Fetal Comparison Compare and present multiple fetus morphometric data side-by-side. This comparison data may be stored to the report or exported to USB. Fetal Comparison ? Growth Percentile The Exam Specific Information about the growth percentage by chart type and by measurement type may also be stored to the report or exported to USB. Growth Percentile ? Add 1 Week to the Estimated Delivery Date (EDD) When configuring obstetric reports, the EDD can be extended to display an additional week by selecting System Configuration, Measurement & Report, Measurement and select ‘Add 1 week to EDD’. Gestational Age (GA) or Estimated Delivery Date (EDD) When configured and the user manually enters the EDD or GA, the last menstrual period (LMP) or Invitro Fertilization (IVF) is automatically calculated and entered by the system. Note that this setting cannot be changed during an active exam. Also, an exam restarted follows the setting when the study was created and cannot be changed. This newly added reporting configuration applies to OB and Early OB exam types. Choose S-Video Options Video output selections now include National Television Standards Committee (NTSC) or Phase Alternating Line (PAL) format types.
