ACUSON Redwood™ Workflow Protocols USA

This course demonstrates customization and use of Protocols on the ACUSON Redwood ultrasound system.

Welcome to the ACUSON Redwood ultrasound system Protocols course. A protocol is a pre-defined checklist that guides you through a clinical workflow. This pre-defined checklist includes automated imaging mode changes, automated text and body markers, as well as automated measurements.  The benefits for using a protocol include guiding new users through an exam, standardizing exams and providing consistency among groups of different users. This helps to ensure that all standard views and measurements are included in the exam. A reduction in keystrokes is another benefit to using a protocol as functions and modes are automatically activated. A protocol is flexible when needed. It can be paused at any point during the exam to obtain additional images or measurements outside of the protocol; this is especially helpful when pathology is present.  This eLearning provides you with relevant information to enhance and improve your knowledge of protocol creation and operation on the ACUSON Redwood system. Congratulations. You have completed the ACUSON Redwood ultrasound system Protocols eLearning course. Listed below are the key topics that have been presented.
