ACUSON Sequoia™ Ultrasound System Workflow Protocols | VA11 Software Release

This course demonstrates customization and use of workflow protocols on the ACUSON Sequoia ultrasound system with the VA11 software. .

Welcome to the ACUSON SequoiaTM Workflow Protocols course. Workflow protocols allow the user to create a “list” of required exam images complete with annotations, measurement labels, color or Doppler, that are automatically added to the screen while scanning.  Once programmed, the user need only to freeze and/or measure the image, then print the onscreen image and the ACUSON Sequoia system will automatically advance to the next required image.  Workflow protocols contribute to fewer keystrokes and a more efficient exam process during scanning, and with on and off-line customization available, are easily installed or transferred to any system.  This training will cover the creation and use of workflow protocols on the ACUSON Sequoia ultrasound system. Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to: Summarize the benefits of a protocol Illustrate how to use protocols Describe how to create and modify a protocol Congratulations. You have completed the ACUSON Sequoia Workflow Protocols Online Training course. Listed below are the key points that have been presented. Take time to review the material before you proceed to the final assessment. Workflow Protocol Benefits Using Workflow Protocols Creating Workflow Protocols Importing / Exporting Workflow Protocols A protocol is a pre-defined checklist that guides you through a clinical workflow. This predefined checklist includes automated imaging mode changes, automated text and body markers, as well as automated measurements. The following are benefits of using workflow protocols: Guiding new users through an exam, standardizing exams and providing consistency among groups of different users  A reduction in keystrokes is another benefit to using protocols, as functions and modes are automatically activated Protocols are also flexible when needed. Protocols may be paused at any point to obtain additional measurements or images outside the protocol  Use the buttons below to learn how to create and use protocols. Learn about Workflow Protocols Learn about Workflow Protocols.
