If you are familiar with ACUSON X Family or NX Series configuration menus, it has a similar look and operation. Stress echo and eSiescan fields were added with 2.0 as well as other changes in the overall menu. It is important for the first power on, to confirm the date and time zone is correct. Selecting Shut down, with bypass a confirmation dialog and may be a choice for the Emergency Medicine department, where speed is very important. The touchpad speed defaults to medium but can be changed if the user needs a different speed. The system boots up quickly ( approximately 30 seconds), so to reserve power and battery, set-it to automatically power off Never and 1-3 hours. The default is 2 hours. The monitor brightness defaults to 44, but may be to be slightly changed in bright light situations. .Note: Factory-defined image presets were created using default settings for the brightness of the monitor. Adjusting the brightness may affect the image optimization intended by the factory-defined image presets. For consistency in image reproduction, consistent quality in the image display, and reduced potential for image quality issues, adjustments to the brightness and contrast of the viewing monitor should be made prior to adjusting the print quality of installed documentation devices. The DCG curve display can be set to time out or stay on or off. The DCG control can adjust the DCG controls for the current image depth or maximum depth. The Patient banner can be adjusted to display date of both or age depending on customer preference. The default is age. To bypass the Doppler/M-Mode cursor, check “Bypass Cursor Mode”.
