Adjust to Patient (InSpace) Job Aid Advanced Therapies - Application Software VB21. **There is an additional job aid available on PEPconnect to determine SW version of the system. Adjust to Patient is used to align/realign a 3D volume to the current ARTIS image, e.g. after patient movement. This function can be used when performing iPilot or iGuide. 1. If the user determines that the patient has moved, Adjust to Patient can be activated from the InSpace touch screen menu or from the control room X-ray tab found in the InSpace taskcard. The Adjust to Patient window opens. InSpace shows an overlaid image consisting of both the 2D fluoro image (orange) and the 2D projection of the 3D volume (blue). Each is displayed in a different color so that the registration results can be better distinguished apart. User can choose Auto Alignment or Manual Alignment or use a combination of both. If the two sets of images are only slightly misaligned, Automatic Alignment is sufficient. 4. Click on the auto icon and the system will align data automatically. If the result is not satisfactory, the user can perform manual alignment. Using the manu- al alignment directional arrows, the user can move the 3D image to match the 2D fluoro image.
