You have completed the Software Overview online training course.  Listed below are the key points that have been presented.  Take time to review the material before you proceed to the final quiz.   Identify the three areas of the ADVIA Centaur CP workspace: The Task Bar is used to access screens and windows associated with specific tasks and functions.  The Display Area shows the current active screen. Status Bar contains the Event Log button and status buttons used to access screens associated with the current status of the system.   Differentiate between the three types of buttons found in the Task Bar area: The Function buttons are used to sign in, to start processing a job or to exit the system. The Task buttons are used to access screens associated with specific task.  There are 5 buttons available: Results, Definition, Maintenance, Diagnostics and Setup. The Help button provides access to all operating instructions and information necessary to run the system. Identify the functions of the graphic images in the Display Area: The Display Area provides access to graphic images that represent the operating parts of the system.  There are 5 buttons: Tip Drawers, Sample Compartment, Ancillary Reagent Area, Primary Reagent Area and Incubation Ring. Event Log:  The Event Log displays the two most recent System Events. Selecting the Event Log button will display a history of events. Reagent and Calibration Stability:  Information about the onboard stability of primary and ancillary reagents and expired calibrations.Supplies:  Indicates when water, wash 1, acid, base, and cuvettes need to be replenished.Waste:  Indicates when Solid and Liquid waste need to be emptied.  Maintenance:  Provides access to the maintenance schedule and the maintenance log of past activities.  Temperatures and Voltages:  Allows the user to observe system temperatures and voltages.
