ADVIA Centaur® XPT System Quality Control Online Training

Quality control includes creating and editing a control definition, processing QC samples, and viewing QC data. This clinical laboratory training qualifies for continuing education units (CEU).

Welcome to the ADVIA Centaur® XPT System Quality Control Online Training course. In this course you will learn about the procedures for defining QC, processing QC samples and for reviewing and managing QC data. Select Next to view the course objectives. Describe how to create and edit QC definitions Describe how to view QC data, graphs, and statistics Explain how to order QC List the steps to create and order QC test profiles List the steps to print and export QC data Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to: Select Next to continue. Congratulations.  You have completed the ADVIA Centaur® XPT System Quality Control Online Training course.  Listed below are the key points that have been presented.  Take time to review the material before you proceed to the final quiz. Quality Control Definition: Enter and edit QC ranges using the QC Definitions screen which is accessed by the QC Command Bar button   Note: It is recommended that you evaluate each new lot of QC material before placing it into routine use.  Creating QC Definitions Learn how to create QC definitions. Options for ordering QC: Manually order using Create QC Orders screen Configure system to automatically order: By Day and Time By Test Count By Control Manually Ordering QC by SID Learn how to manually order QC by SID. QC Reports: Can be generated on the QC Statistics Review and Analysis windows A time filter can be applied to the data Reports can be sent to a printer or saved to a PDF file Exporting QC Files: QC files and patient median files can be exported as XML or TXT file types Printing QC Learn how to print QC data.
