Base ImageHotspotsText BlocksImage File To decontaminate the water reservoir, a UV light in the water reservoir automatically turns on for 90 seconds at system startup and then every 23 hours. The system's top cover includes a self-latching lock for safety during normal operation. If the top cover is open when the system is processing samples, a system alert prompts you to close the top cover. Open the lock using the key provided during system installation. The barcode scanner can read both 1D and 2D barcodes.  The master curve and test definition information is now scanned in at the same time using 2D barcodes. There is now a capacitance sensor for the liquid waste bottle instead of a glass rod sensor. The tip waste chute has been redesigned to be easier to install on the system. The status light has been redesigned. The colors are still the same (yellow indicates a warning and red indicates an error). The aspirate probes have been redesigned to be easier to replace. A key feature of the connect system is that it allows wired and wireless network connectivity and centralized control of all satellite Point of Care CLINITEK Status®+ Analyzers. The connect platform also provides the capability to interface with Laboratory or Hospital Information systems or to interface with Electronic Medical Records. These screens are used to view the status of samples, reagents, supplies, and tests orders, manage calibrations and QC, order tests, perform maintenance and diagnostics, configure the system, and monitor errors. Additionally, the system state is displayed in the center of the Command Bar. This is also the area where Master Curve and Test Definitions are viewed, and Calibrator Definitions are scanned into the system. Select next to continue.9 Test Results Perform result related tasks such as repeating tests and accepting results Set up a Watch List to monitor specific results as necessary  Transmit the results to the LIS View results in closer detail Send results to historical Filter results by assay, rack, SID, resulted time, and scanned time   Select Next to continue. Select next to continue.10 QC Define rules for monitoring your QC tests View QC statistics as they accumulate Create QC Definitions and QC Definition Profiles Configure the system to automatically order QC tests   Select Next to continue. The QC tool allows you to define rules for monitoring your QC tests and then to view the statistics as they accumulate. It also allows you to create QC Definitions and QC Definition Profiles. Additionally, you can configure the system to automatically order QC tests by day and time, by test count, or by control. Select next to continue.11 Setup Configure all the settings required to set up your basic system operations   Select Next to continue.  The Setup tool gives you access to all the configurations required to set up your basic system operations. Status Bar Learn about the Status Bar icons. Base ImageHotspotsText BlocksImage File The Help symbol accesses general help about the workstation. The Sign-in symbol displays a window for signing in or out of the system. To sign into the system, select this icon, and enter the Operator Name and Password. Then select the Sign In button. The System icon allows you to change the System State or to shut down the system. The Remote Communications icon allows you to set up and view up to 4 other workstations. It also gives you limited access to some functions on each of the connected workstations. The LIS Communication icon displays the current status of the LIS connection and allows you to change it as necessary. The Dashboard icon displays a quick count of all samples and tests currently being managed by the system. Selecting a Dashboard counter button opens the Test Results > Dashboard tab to review the individual results. Selecting the STAT button opens the Test Results > STAT tab displaying all STAT results. The Quick Find icon allows you to search for a specific Patient or QC Result.  The LAS Communication icon displays the current status of the LAS connection and allows you to reset it as necessary. The System Status icon displays the status of the system.  Areas of the system that need attention will flash in yellow or red.  You can select the highlighted area to view additional information. Selecting the audio icon will turn on / off the system alarm sounds.  The File Explorer icon allows you to manage your files and access log files for troubleshooting.  Online Help Learn about the features of Online Help. Access the electronic version of the operator's guide from the online help table of contents. The Start-Up Wizard directs you through a quick procedure to set up basic functions to operate the instrument. These settings can be changed to suit workplace needs and preferences. Tab TitleTextBy Day and Time The system can be configured to automatically order QC at certain day(s) and time(s). To order QC by day and time: On the command bar, select QC > QC Scheduler > By Day and Time Select Add Schedule In the Schedules section, select at least 1 day or select All Days to schedule the control daily Use the Select Time area to select times: Select the >> button Select at least 1 time or up to 48 times at half-hour intervals To close the time window, select the << button In the Profiles area, select at least 1 QC Profile or up to 25 QC Profiles Select Save NOTE: The system will continue running if it's past the time when the control is scheduled to run by Day and Time.      By Test Count The system can be configured to automatically order QC when a certain patient test count (not including calibrators or QC) is reached.   To order QC by test count: On the command bar, select QC > QC Scheduler > By Test Count Select Add Schedule In the Test column, select each test to use for the scheduled QC test. As you select tests, the system lists QC Profiles in the Profiles table that are common to all the selected tests In the Profiles table, select at least 1 QC Profile or up to 25 QC Profiles to use in the scheduled QC In the Set Count field, enter a value from 1 to 999 to set the number of tests to be the trigger for the scheduled QC Select Save    By Control Control-based QC schedules automatically create QC orders when a corresponding control is detected in a sample rack. The system processes only the tests associated with the control material and the QC Profiles selected for a control-based QC schedule. These pending test orders will display in the View Pending Orders screen. To order QC by control: 1.     On the command bar, select QC > QC Scheduler > By Control 2.     Select Add Schedule 3.     In the Control Name column, select each control to use for the scheduled QC. To decontaminate the reservoir, a UV light in the reservoir automatically turns on for 90 seconds at system startup and then every 23 hours.
