ADVIA® Chemistry XPT System Cleaning Cuvette Conditioner Bottle Video

This video provides instructions on how to clean and replenish the cuvette conditioner bottle. This is required maintenance every 2 months on the ADVIA® Chemistry XPT System.

Cleaning the cuvet conditioner bottle will prevent cross contamination to clean and replenish the cuvette conditioner bottle. First open both fluids doors. Pull the fluid tray out to gain access to the cuvette conditioner bottle. Unscrew the level sensor and filter tubing cap and remove the tubing with the filter and the level sensor. Make sure the tubing with the filter and the level sensor is completely removed from the bottle prior to removing the bottle. Set the filter tubing and level sensor on the lint free cloth near the bottle. Make sure to not disconnect the black level sensor connector. Remove the bottle. Empty any remaining contents of the bottle. Rinse the bottle with D ionized water and drain it well. Refill the bottle with cuvette conditioner. Return the bottle to the same position on the fluid tray in the cabinet. Make sure to place the bottle in the correct color coded location. Reinstall the cuvet conditioner, bottle level sensor and filter tubing cap by turning it clockwise. Return the fluid tray to its original location. Close both fluids doors. Prime the fluid lines by selecting system operations. Then prime. Then Prime 2. Enter 10 or more for the number of times in all fields. Select perform. And then OK, if you're cleaning other bottles, you may wait to perform this priming step for all fluid lines.
