ADVIA® Chemistry XPT System Cleaning LWP Line Filter Video

During the monthly Pure water bottle cleaning the filter attached to the large water pump LWP line must also be cleaned. Clogging of this filter may cause insufficient water pressure in the LWP line. Ensure that the system is in standby mode. Open the lower left panel. Place a cloth and a container under the filter case to catch any water that may come out as it's removed. Unscrew the filter case by turning to the left and remove it while removing the filter case. Be careful not to spill the water in the case after removing the case, empty the water from the filter case. Then remove the mesh filter from the system. Clean the inside of both the filter case and mesh filter with a brush. Replace the mesh filter with a new filter. If exceedingly dirty, rinse off both with D ionized water. Dry both with the lint free cloth. Ensure the O-ring is set correctly in the filter case, place the mesh filter inside the filter case. Reattach the filter case and tighten it. Turn the switch in the front of the system all the way to the right to bring the system into operate mode. Select System operations, then initialize. Once the system is in Ready mode, turn on the LWP by selecting diagnostics. Next choose manual operation. Ensure that only water supply subassembly is selected. Select the LWP 71 water pressure pump pro to turn the LWP on. Ensure there is no fluid leaking from the filter case. Check the water pump pressure and if necessary turn the nob on the water pump to adjust the pressure value to 68 kilo pascals. Select the LWP 71 water pressure pump pro again to turn the LWP off. Select close. Nextprime the fluid lines by first selecting system operations. Then prime. Then Prime 2. Enter 10 or more for the number of times in all fields, select perform. And then OK. Close the lower left panel.
