Agile MAX: Start up to Completion of Fluoroscopy Examinations

This step by step will guide the User through using the Agile MAX system to
from starting the system to performing a Fluoroscopy Exam, saving images and
sending to PACS.

Agile Max: Startup to Completion of Fluoroscopy Examinations XPRF 1. Ensure the FLC is powered on at the exposure console. 2. Select “Update RIS Worklist” from the “Patient” subtask card or by pressing F11 on the key- board. RIS 3. Select the desired patient from the “Pre-Registered Patients” tab by double-clicking on their name. 4. Ensure the necessary Organ Programs (OGPs) are displayed in the box in the upper right cor- ner. If the system has an overhead x-ray tube, place it in the “Park” position (typically in the corner of the room). A large “P” will display on the front of the x-ray tube when the position is reached. After placing the patient safely on the table, raise the table to at least the working height of 32 inches. Typically there is a slight bump once the that height is reached. The table can be adjusted higher if desired. If the minimum height is not reached, the following system mes- sage is displayed. i No X-ray. Table at min No DIT (FD) movement - Tube touches the floor. Raise table first OK 6. Press and hold one of the “Unpark” buttons until the DIT is completely across the table. The light over the “Park” button is now a solid green light. The word “READY” should appear in green on the bottom of the smaller monitor in the room (the TUI) as well as in the bottom right corner of the monitor in the control room (the FLC). 7. Images can be acquired. The operator can save a Last Image Hold (LIH) or Store Fluoro Loop during the exam. Note: Fluoro Loop is an option. Las LAST IMAGE HOLD/IMAGE CAPTURE S STORE FLUORO LOOP 8. Once the exam is completed, the DIT will need to be put in the “Park” position. There are four steps required for parking. P a. Press and release one of the “Park” buttons. The green light on it will begin to flash. b. Raise the DIT all the way up until the Vertical Lock light comes on. Push the DIT transversely towards the wall until the DIT stops and the transverse/longitudinal light comes on. -ED-> d. Press and hold the “Park“ button again until the DIT is completely parked. 9. Images can be reviewed and manipulated (if desired) in the “Post Processing“ tab on the monitor in the control room. 10. To send images to PACS, select the “DICOM Send“ button on the “Documentation“ tab in the “Send“ subtab. Verify all images that are going to PACS have a white dot in the upper left corner. Once sent, images will have the letter “A“ on the top left corner. Note: Right mouse clicking on an image will add or remove the white dot determing rather or not the image will go to PACS.
