AI-Rad Companion - Confirmation Workflow - Brain MR Job Aid

This PDF provides you an overview of the steps within the Brain MR workflow.

Brain MR Confirmation Workflow AI-Rad Companion The AI-Rad Companion Brain MR extension creates brain morphometry reports based on the T1- weighted magnetization-prepared and rapid gradient-echo (MPRAGE) series. This report contains a volumetric table with the numeric results and the following graphical visualizations of different brain regions: label map, label map fused with the original MPRAGE, deviation map, and deviation map fused with the original MPRAGE. The Brain MR extension is available with the software version VA20A and later. 1. After activating the Brain MR extension, you can view and review different brain results in the Result Preview. The 2D segment displays how AI-Rad Companion segmented and identified the different brain regions. The deviation map displays the difference for each brain regions, color-coded in order to indicate the degree of deviation from the average age- and gender-matched normative volume. You can configure the corresponding color range in the settings. Normalized volumes that are outside the normal range are indicated by an asterisk in the result table. If necessary, adjust the normative range or the blending ratio between the original MR image and the resulting map in the configuration settings. 3. Decide for all findings to accept or decline them by clicking the button corresponding to your decision. a) Click Decline All if you disagree with the findings. They will be marked as declined in the patient list, will be deleted and will not be sent to the PACS. Decline All Send to PACS b) Select if you want to send either the label map or deviation map or both to the PACS. The volumetric report will always be sent to the PACS. If you made all your decisions on the findings, click the Send to PACS button. The patient case will be closed and if selected the following five series will be sent to the PACS: Fused_LM, REPORT, LABEL, Fused_DM and DM.
