You can open the configuration tabs with the button. 1. Screen layout of the Configuration menu The configuration menu is used to activate the calculations and to determine all results that are sent to PACS or to the result preview. Configuration tabs The tabs display sections that allow you to configure the results related to the medical devices. Result setting The following options are commonly displayed in each extension except Pulmonary Density. • Send Results for Confirmation: This option enables the calculation of results. It activates the option to review and individually send the results to the PACS. The Pulmonary Density results can be enabled only in the Pulmonary Density configuration. • Create Structured Report: This option enables the creation of a DICOM Structured Report instance for these measurement results inside a common DICOM Structured Report series. 3. Results setting section You can configure the results setting, such as parameters, ranges based on the Low Attenuation Value (LAV), image windowing, and image volume rendering. 4. Restore Default Settings button This button is commonly displayed in each extension. The setting is restored to default setting for the selected extension only when you click Restore Default Settings button. 5. Save and Cancel buttons These buttons are commonly displayed in each extension. The settings for all extensions are saved when you click the Save button. Lung Settings 2.1. Lung Lesion 1. Click on the Lung tab. Activate the Detection of Lung Lesions option to enable the calculation of results. By activating the Send Results for Confirmation option, you can enable to review and individually send images to the PACS. By deactivating this option, results will be regarded as automatically confirmed and sent to the PACS without prior manual review. Thickness of segmentation contour [pixels] (values: 1-5) d. Zoom factor of lesion series (values: 1-5): select the value to identify the anatomy surrounding the lesion e. Number of Outer Slices (values: 1-5): determine how many additional slices are displayed both above and below the lesion. By deactivating the Assessment of Pulmonary Densities option, you can exclude the Assessment of Pulmonary Densities from the results calculation. According to FDA policy “Enforcement Policy for Imaging Systems During the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Public Health Emergency” issued in April 2020, the manufacturer is allowed to market this feature without FDA-clearance. This policy is intended to remain in effect only for the duration of the public health emergency related to COVID-19 declared by the HHS, including any renewals made by the HHS Secretary in accordance with section 319(a)(2) of the Public Health Services Act (42 U.S.C. 247d(a)(2)). Pulmonary Density results are not indicated for the diagnosis of COVID-19. Only in vitro diagnostic testing is currently the definitive method to diagnose COVID-19.
