General Layout and Basic Functions Job Aid AI-Rad Companion This document introduces the general layout and basic functions of the AI-Rad Companion user interface. Further, you will be introduced to the first steps when working with the software. 1. General layout 1. After starting AI-Rad Companion from the teamplay login page, the Case List tab opens. The following different views are available in the Case List: Queued Worklist (3) Completed Failed All • Queued: cases scheduled for processing • Worklist: cases successfully processed and awaiting confirmation. Symbol Description This case is currently processed and cannot be opened. This case is new. This means that this case is processed and ready for confirmation. Paused cases are displayed with the Suspended label. If configured, a Findings label is displayed next to cases with findings. If single results could not be created, an error X indicator is added to the case and displayed in the Worklist view or in the Completed view. Details are provided by the corresponding tooltip. You can sort by column in each of the four views, so you can find individual cases more easily. Please note: This sorting will not impact the priority of the processing. The Patient List can be sorted by the following patient characteristics: Status - Name - Patient ID - Date of Birth - Sex - Modality - Accession No. - Scan Date & time - Insertion Date & Time - Series Description - 2. By clicking on the case that you would like to confirm in the Worklist view you can proceed to the Results preview. Results navigation: shows all available results in AI-Rad Companion Chest CT 4. Suspend and Send to PACS buttons: suspend the current confirmation workflow and return to the case list or send all accepted findings to PACS and close the patient case 5. 2D segment: displays 2D images of the currently selected findings 6. Contour: display or hide contours 7. Default window setting: apply the according window setting from Lung, Bone and Soft Tissue. 8. Control section: accept, decline findings or mark them as to be remeasured (lung lesions only) 9. 3D segment: displays 3D images of the currently selected findings 10. Basic functions In the Results preview, following functions are available: Findings Overview The Findings Overview displays a graphical Not for diagnostic use * overview of the regions AI-Rad Companion Chest CT has analyzed. The regions are color-coded, corresponding to your individual thresholds, and the positions of findings are highlighted. Pulmonary Density When declining or remeasuring a finding, the overview will be updated automatically. Lung Lesions. Lung Parenchyma, Cardio, Vascular. Musculoskeletal wolos are based on institutional settings and are not an indication or recommendation for treatment. Results In the Results navigation section, you can click through the results to see all findings. You can scroll through the images with the scroll bar on the right side. 17.0 mm Mouse action Description In the 2D segment you can scroll through the 2D images of the selected finding with the scroll wheel of the mouse. By pressing and holding the scroll wheel you can pan the image. By holding the right mouse button down and moving the mouse vertically at the same time you can zoom the image in and out. By holding the left mouse button and moving the mouse vertically you can change the standard window center settings. By holding the left mouse button and moving the mouse horizontally changes the window width. The buttons below enable you to accept or decline findings or mark findings to be remeasured in PACS. The 3D segment displays volume rendering images with different viewing angles. Same mouse actions as described with the 2D 1 / 8 segment are possible here. If you then open the patient case again, all your prior decisions on the findings will be shown. After you made all your decisions on the findings, click the Send to PACS button. The patient case will be closed, and the data will be sent to the PACS.
