Anzai Respiratory Gating – Setup and Use Description: This Step by Step document will assist the user through setting up the Anzai Respiratory Gating device in order to acquire a respiratory gated study with the Siemens Biograph PET/CT scanners. 1. Turn ON the main power switch in the rear panel of Sensor Port. - 2. Fix respiratory sensor to the patient a. Insert the Load Cell into the pocket of belt. b. Observe the patient’s breathing. Wrap the belt around the part of the chest where the patient has the most respiratory movement. Make sure the load cell is against a rib for better contact.
