Aptio® Automation Discard Used Caps

Open the door to the decapper waste container by pressing the open Door label to release the locking mechanism. Remove the waste container and lift the biohazard bag out of it. Seal and discard the bag according to your laboratory's policy. Once the container is removed for 10 seconds, the automatic counter is reset to 0. Install a new biohazard bag into the waste container. Lastly, slide the waste container firmly into place and close the door. Ensure the module is not in an error condition. Then select on line to resume operation.
