Sealer Module Maintenance Aptio® Automation Monthly Maintenance Refer to the Aptio Automation Operations Manual when performing the following procedures. Clean the gripper pads Supplies needed: lint‐free cloth, 0.1% sodium hypochlorite solution 1. Bring the Sealer Off‐line and turn off the heater: a. Select Sealer from the Overview screen b. Select Off‐line, select Flush Carriers and confirm c. Select Diagnostics ‐ Sealing Head d. Select Heater and then Off e. Select Refresh to display the information related to the Module 2. Check the heater temperature. Wait until the value corresponding to the Sealer – Heater Analog sensor is 55°C/131°F or less before continuing this procedure. Open the Sealer Module cover. Use caution when opening the lid to ensure it is fully open 4. Clean the gripper pads with a lint‐free cloth lightly moistened with 0.1% sodium hypochlorite solution 5. Inspect the gripper pads to ensure they are secure and not excessively worn. Using a lint‐free cloth lightly moistened with deionized water, clean the area surrounding the carrier sensor 7. Close the Sealer Module cover 8. Bring the Sealer Module On‐line: a.
