Aptio® Automation Universal Shaker Module Maintenance Job Aid

This job aid provides instructions on how to perform monthly maintenance on the Universal Shaker Module on Aptio® Automation. 

Note: This job aid is designed for systems which include "AP2" or "APT" and the letter "C" in the serial number. If your system serial number includes "APT" but does not include the letter "C", please select the Aptio Automation (Siemens) training area. 

Universal Shaker Module Maintenance Aptio® Automation Monthly Maintenance Refer to the Aptio Automation Operations Manual when performing the following procedures. Clean the grippers Supplies needed: lint-free cloths, 0.1% sodium hypochlorite solution, hex tool, deionized water 1. Ensure the Universal Shaker Module is Off-line a. Select Overview b. Select Shaker c. Select Status d. Select Off-line e. Select Do Not Flush Ensure the Universal Shaker Module has stopped all movements before proceeding to the next step. 2. Remove the cover a. Loosen the screws securing the cover using the hex tool b. Set aside the screws and remove the cover 3. Clean the grippers inside and outside using a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with 0.1% sodium hypochlorite solution 5. Reinstall the cover, being careful to align the mounting pins and holes. Install and tighten the screws with the hex tool to secure the cover 6. Bring the module On-line a. Select Overview b. Select Shaker c. Select Status d.
