Roadmap makes catheter and guide wire positioning easier by emphasizing the vessels and devices. During Roadmap, a vessel map is inverted so that the vessels appear white. The vessel map is overlaid on the live subtracted fluoroscopy image. The vessel map may be created as part of the Roadmap procedure (Roadmap Basic mode) or using DSA Roadmap, you can use a previously acquired DSA scene as a vessel map.
