By pressing the footswitch you can release radiation again right away. In the following cases you should press the emergency STOP button: 144 • If a malfunction of the system occurs. • If a unit movement causes an emergency situation involving danger to the patient, to operating personnel, or to the unit. • If unwanted radiation occurs, for example if a radiation release pedal jams or it is blocked by a radiation protection lead rubber skirt. First unlock the floor stand by pressing the unlocking pushbutton 1 (located on the rear side of the floor stand). 2. Swivel the stand by applying sufficient force 2 . 2 • Rotating the patient table 1. Press the table unlocking pedal 3 . (3) 3 2. Keep pressing the pedal and rotate the patient table. 1 3. Control room, Examination task card: 1. Select Acquisition > Activate Fluoro on Handswitch in the main menu. 2. A confirmation dialog opens. Click Yes. Simultaneously press and hold the Store position and Set zero stop buttons and also push the emergency STOP button on the stand/C-arm control module. Wait until the bypass screen appears on the exam room monitor. 2. Then pull the emergency STOP button and after that release the Store position and Set zero stop buttons. The brake test must be performed in the Parking position. 1. Click the System Positions button on the Stand Control Module and select Parking Position. 2. Press down the Stand Control joystick on the Stand Control Module and deflect it forward until 144 the Parking position has been reached. The system drives to the Parking position. The message Stand Test: Activate stand movement # s is displayed. D 3. Press down the Stand Control joystick and deflect it forward again. The brake test is started and SCM - System Positions button the message Stand Test: running is displayed. 4. The system performs the brake test for each axle (6 times). 5. Continue pressing down and deflecting the joystick until the message Stand Test: Successfully completed is displayed. Normal movements are possible again. If the brake test is not successful, the message Automatic Stand Test failed, SC is displayed. All movements of the stand are (144 blocked. (Table movements are still possible.)
