ARTIS pheno VE20 Collimator Control Module (CCM) Video

This video demonstrates how to collimate images using the Collimator control module (CCM) on your ARTIS pheno VE20. 

Welcome to Artis Fino collimator control modules ccme video. This video will introduce you to the functions of the collimator control module. The collimator control module controls the placement of collimator blades, an wedge, filters, collimation and filters can be applied to reduce patient dose and improve image quality. There are two types of semi transparent filters, wedge filters and finger filters. The two joysticks at the top of the collimator control module can be used to apply the semi transparent filters. Use the joysticks to apply wedge filters. Deflect the left joystick from left to right to move in the left wedge filter. Deflect the right joystick from right to left to move in the right wedge filter. To rotate the wedge filter, deflect the filter away from you or to the side. When you release X Ray, the wedge filters are applied. To reset all filters and collimation, press the home key at the front of the collimator control module. To change the filter from the wedge filter to the finger filter, press the key in between the two joysticks. Collimate the image to reduce dose and improve image quality using the center joystick for collimation to collimate from side to side. Deflect the joystick left to right. To collimate from top to bottom, deflect the joystick towards you. When you activate X Ray, the collimation is applied on the image. To reset the collimation, press the joystick down.
