Welcome to the 3D acquisition workflow video. This video will demonstrate how to set up an perform 3D acquisitions using your artist system. 3D acquisitions are used to create either high contrast or soft tissue. Views of the pathology of the patient. The result from the 3D acquisition and the reconstruction creates ET like images. The results are often used in God. The workflows like needle guidance, embolization, guidance or others. Rotational acquisitions are designed for capturing a specific body region of interest over a series of multiple projections. The See arm rotates about the isocenter and acquires images. Each image represents the predetermined angular increment. The images acquired during the rotation are reconstructed within the 4D viewer. To compute a 3D data set. The 3D data set is visualized in the syngo 4D viewer and either the NPR Multi Planner reformations myth maximum intensity projection or vert volume rendered technique or other visualization techniques. The information in this video relates to 3D acquisitions with the following system requirements. Artist systems with software version Pure VD 11 or higher. Prior to starting any rotational acquisitions, you should ensure that the rotational path is free from all obstructions. Check that the rotational path is free from obstruction by all persons in objects. Move all equipment out of the rotational path. This includes Ivy stands, trolleys exam room displays, and other movable in room equipment. For example, lead Shields and surgery lights. Ensure that the patient's arms are secured and are not obscuring the region of interest. Check that head fixation devices are secure. Secure Ivy lines and breathing tubes out of the rotational path, ensuring they are not obscuring the region of interest. Before starting the 3D acquisition workflow, position the see arm into the AP position at the region of interest. If the stand see Arm is not already positioned in an appropriate system position, select the position from the system position list. And perform the automatic drive until the system has reached this position. When using the automatic drive, follow the guidance messages on the exam room display. Please note the automatic drive is activated by pressing down and deflecting the stand. See arm joystick. As preparation for Isocenter position, the region of interest so that it is centrally located within the field of view isocenter can be performed prior to selecting the acquisition protocol or as part of the acquisition workflow. 3D examinations can only be performed in calibrated system positions. The available calibrated positions depends on the system type. Please confirm with your Siemens Healthineers Applications specialists which calibrated positions at different table rotations or tilt are possible. Select the 3D protocol from the 3D Wizard on the on Screen menu and the General 4D menu. Please note that most parts of this workflow can be performed on the optional control room modules or control room user interface. It is also possible to select the 3D protocol on the exam Task card on the touchscreen control TSC in the exam room. It is a requirement in rotational acquisitions to position the region of interest in the isocenter. The Isocenter assistant provides guidance on the exam room display. After selection of the 3D protocol, a guidance message appears prompting you to position into AP. If the system is not already in the AP position, press on the stand. See arm joystick and deflect the joystick away from you. The See Arm will move to the AP position. Perform fluoroscopy briefly. Using care position, adjust the table lanja Tude and Lee Ann transversely so that the region of interest is in the center of the field of view. Depending on the region of interest, collimation may be applied, but only in the top to bottom direction slab acquisition. Using side to side collimation must not be performed as the image quality is impaired by truncations. After you a position the region of interest in the AP position, the following message is shown on the exam room display 3D ISO lateral activate stand movement. To position the region of interest in the lateral position, press on the stand. See arm joystick and deflect the joystick away from you. Perform fluoroscopy briefly. Using care position, adjust the table top height so that the region of interest is in the isocenter. The Optional Laser Cross might be of help during this step. When you are satisfied with the position of the region of interest within the isocenter, you can continue with the 3D workflow and enter the test phase. To prepare, move the system to the start position for the test phase, a message appears on the exam room display 3D start position. Activate stand movement. Press on the stand. See arm joystick and deflect the joystick away from you. When the system is in the start position, a message appears on the exam room display. 3D test phase, auto activate stand movement. It is important in the test phase to ensure that the area of rotation is free from possible collisions. This test is performed at a slower speed than the later acquisition to allow better reaction to possible required changes. To start the test phase, press on the stand. See arm joystick and deflect the joystick away from you. The C arm will rotate around the region of interest. Keep the joystick deflected. The test phase will end automatically. For automatic setting of acquisition parameters, you are prompted by the system to perform fluoroscopy briefly. Before you start the 3D acquisition, ensure that you are prepared for the injection of contrast media if required. The right timing, volume and dilution of contrast media will depend on the region of interest and the acquisition protocol. When the test phase is completed, the system is ready for acquisition. A message will appear on the exam room display ready for 3D. See arm rotation depends on the selected protocol, for example. In Der acquisitions in the acquisition phase, the system will perform one see ARM rotation. If an injector is armed, the contrast agent will be injected. DSA acquisitions will involve three rotations of the C arm in the acquisition phase. The mask run the return rotation no X Ray, and the fill run. The injector will be started for the fill run. The system will wait the time that is set in the X Ray delay. Some acquisition protocols involve a bolus watching phase. After the mask run. For example nuro pve. Acquisition can be released by the Hand Switch or the Footswitch. If you are using a protocol with multiple phases, for example a DSA 3D protocol, the multi functional button on the hand switch can be used to manually activate each phase of acquisition. The contrast medium injection can be synced with the acquisition, or you can manually trigger the injection of contrast media using the injector interface. During the 3D acquisition, as the See Arm rotates around the region of interest, the 2D images are shown on the exam room display. This allows you to see the anatomical structures and monitor the injection of contrast media. Continue to release X-ray hand switch or footswitch until you are notified by the system that the 3D run is complete. An audible signal indicates that the acquisition is complete. When the 3D acquisition is finalized, the 3D acquisition program is automatically deselected, and a 2D acquisition program is selected by default. If configured, the system can be moved back to the system position prior to entering the 3D acquisition workflow. Use the automatic drive function to return the system to the previous working position. After the 3D acquisition is complete, the data is automatically transferred to the 4D viewer for Reconstruction. The data is displayed in the Syngo 4D viewer based on the visualization presets in the protocol selected from the 3D wizard.
