This video explains the basic functions of the touchscreen control (TSC).

Welcome to the artist, touchscreen control TSC video. In this video you will learn about the basic functions of the TSC on your artist system. The touch screen control TSC is located on the touch screen control module. The TSC has a touch sensitive liquid crystal display and is operated by touch with your fingertip. On the TSC you can select functions related to the current examination. The functions available depend on your system type and your system configuration. Please note that the buttons and the layout of the TSC on this video is an example only. Your TSC may appear differently. There are different types of buttons on your TSC. Select table buttons have a bold line at the bottom. Buttons that open a window or a drop down menu have a line and an arrow at the bottom. When a button is currently selected, the button appears white and a line appears at the top. Some buttons select functions that require operation with the mouse. In this case a green mouse symbol appears at the top of the button. The input area of the TSE is divided into 2 parts. In the stack of task cards in the center you will find buttons grouped by function. On the outside of the card, stack, on the left, right and bottom sides you will find buttons for your most frequently required functions, for example. Block radiation. Block system movements. Store a store monitor image, a fluoroscopy loop or a reference image. And buttons for image review. Your TSE maybe configured with more than one layout, a standard and an expert layout are available as default. Further layouts may be configured based on the user or the type of examination. You can configure the assortment of the buttons per layout on the TSC Configurator on your system console. Select options configuration and select the TSC Configurator icon. Please note this video will not describe how to configure that ESC. To change the layout, select the settings task card and select the layout from the dropdown list. Please note that it may take approximately a minute for the new layout to update. The block radiation and block system movements buttons are mandatory and cannot be removed from the TSC. In the expert layout, the settings Task card includes further buttons. For example, the buttons to select the live or ref displays on the assist screen. The menu to select the patient position. A button to close the patient. In the exam task card you can select the exam, set the acquisition and the fluoroscopy protocol. Additionally, you can adjust the acquisition frame rate and the fluoroscopy pulse rate. If the DSA license is available, the buttons for road map, DSA, road map and overlay reference image appear in the exam task card. Further buttons maybe configured to appear in the exam task card, but may also be configured to other areas on the TSC. For example, the buttons for selection of plane A or plane B. Artist C and artist Q by plane. The dilation timer. Or I view selection? The buttons for selection plane A or plane B and the dilation timer are included in the expert layout by default. On the image task card you can select post processing functions. You then use the mouse to perform post processing functions. The buttons in the image task card are grouped by function. Some examples of the functions that you can access in the image task card in the expert layout include zoom by a factor of 2. Zoom to acquisition size. Display ECG shutter the image. Invert the image. Adjust the brightness, an contrast and adjust the edge enhancement. You can also access some applications in the image task card, for example DSA. When you select DS a a menu opens with DSA postprocessing options. Please note that either replace mask or Move mask, maybe configured to appear. If your system is licensed, you can select the clear stent button to generate a clear stent reference image. You can also access buttons to add annotations, an measurements to the image and send images to the film sheet. If your system is licensed, an configured further test cards will be available on your TSE. This may include the quant task card, the 4D task card, and the Physio Task card. Please note that the buttons for the quant 4D and Physio task cards cannot be configured to appear in other task cards. In the quant test card, you can select calibration and quantification functions and perform them with the mouse joystick, including calibration. 2D vessel analysis, 2D and 3D coronary vessel analysis and left ventricle analysis. If your system is licensed to perform 3D acquisitions, the 4D task card is available on the touch screen. The buttons in the for the task card are grouped by function. You can access the following functions in the 4D task card. Select the review image manipulation mode. Open the 3D wizard. Save a study bookmark. Overlay 3D objects on the live screen. 3D road map on the 4D screen. Overlay 3D contours on the live screen. Adjust the image display to the current see arm position. Adjust the see arm position to the current image display. If your system is configured with census, the census buttons are available on the Physio Task card of the TSC, the Physio Task Art presents a slightly different button selection.
