Proper use of the systems functions and features will facilitate operators with precise workflow, quick patient through put and user satisfaction. The ArtPix solution is the answer for any retro fit need. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to: • Correctly perform start-up and shutdown of the ArtPix system. • Utilize the ArtPix system with the current RAD/Mobile equipment. • Utilize the system to Perform Patient Exams. • Utilize the postprocessing functions to optimize image impression. • Correctly send Patient Images to archive destination. 6 Turnover Workbook | ArtPix EZ2GO 1 Introduction to Tablet and Startup 1.1. Objectives Notes By the end of this section, the technologist will be able to: • Turn the system On/Off • Assign and set up Hospital-Users • Utilize the tablet for Patient Registration/Exposure/Archive • Utilize the Wireless Detector • Perform Patient Exams 1.2. Tablet Log On/Off and Shut Down 1.2.1. Log into the system by entering the created User Name and Password. Hospital Examination Name Matching • Select Settings • Select Registration • Select “Hospital examination Names” • Fill in the “Hospital Examination Name” with the exact wording from the hospital RIS work-list • Under Examination use the drop down to select the correct Exam. • For extremity exams, select laterality (Left or Right). • Select “Add” and then “Save”; the Exam will move to the list on the right. • To “Edit” an existing name select the name from the list on the right hand side and select Edit. • To “Remove” the name from the Hospital Examination Names list, select the name from the list on the right side and select Remove. Detector Connection Status + 80% 70% • WIFI Status • Green is greater than 75% • Yellow is 50% to 75% • Red is less than 50% 9 Turnover Workbook | ArtPix EZ2GO • Lost Communication Notes V • Yellow triangle means the system is trying to reconnect. • Red triangle means the connection has been lost. • Detector Battery Status • Green is greater than 65% • Yellow is 35% to 65% • Red is less than 35% • Detector Temperature Status is only seen if there is concern. • Yellow means the detector battery is above normal operating temperature. • Red means the detector battery is at critical temperature, acquisition is prohibited until battery is cooled. • Disk Space • Yellow means the free disk space is higher than normal operating free space. • Red means there is not enough room to make another acquisitions (saving image manipulations are denied). • Queue Manager shows the sending status. The number on the top right corner is how many studies are pending to be sent. 0 • The yellow triangle indicates an item is stuck in queue. • External Tools when selected open items such as Remote Access, Reject Analysis, and Capture last image data. 10 Turnover Workbook | ArtPix EZ2GO 1.6. Work-List registration • Automatic Patient Registration • Select the patient to be examined • Study screen will display • Additional Actions • Press the check box of desired exams to be performed. Multiple exams for the same patient can be selected. Select Register once all exams are chosen. • Press View to see the patient record • Press Close to discontinue or to close the patient • Press Refresh to update the worklist, this is also done in the background.
