Create Cart List and collect materials using the Cart List You the operator can create your cart list of materials needed for your day. You will learn more about this feature in this training. Check Sample Status Asa allows you the operator to check quickly your sample status. You will learn more about this feature in this training. Check System Health The System Status Map can be used to: Monitor the overall health of your Atellica Solution Provide an at a glance indication through color coding of when the system/module needs attention including maintenance Play Check System Health audf_atellica_asa_checksystemhealth.mp3 The system status map is an integral part of Asa. This map at a glance can be used to monitor the overall health of your Atellica Solution. It indicates when a system or module needs attention from you, including maintenance. Check and Perform Maintenance The maintenance tile provides you with a more in depth look at the maintenance activities scheduled for the current calendar day. Select the play button to learn how to check and perform maintenance. Add Items to Cart List The Cart List is a list of materials that need to be added to the system to perform daily testing. The Cart List is created by selecting the items you want to add to the list from the Needs Tiles: Supplies Reagents Calibrators Quality Control You can take the tablet with the Cart List displayed to your lab’s supply location to obtain the needed materials. Play IF Wi-Fi connectivity is lost, the Cart List will still be usable while collecting material even though the list cannot update with new information. Add Items to Cart List audf_atellica_asa_createcartlist.mp3 You the operator can create a list of the materials that need to be added to your system to perform daily testing. The cart list is created by accessing each of the needs screens and selecting the needed materials. You can take the tablet with the Cart List to obtain the needed materials. Even if your wifi connection is lost your list will still display. You can then track items obtained from the supply location by removing them from the list. Check Sample Status The Asa software allows the operator to check the status of the following types of samples: STAT samples that require intervention STAT samples that are in progress Routine calibrator, QC, and patient samples that require intervention Play Check Sample Status audf_atellica_asa_checksamplestatus.mp3 Clicking on either the Routine or STAT tile provides you with a more in-depth look at samples that may require intervention. Asa Troubleshooting Features The Asa Troubleshooting features includes: Online Help Diagnostics Service Support Request PEPconnect Play Asa Troubleshooting Features audf_atellica_asa_troubleshooting_one.mp3 Selecting the troubleshooting icon gives access to online help, diagnostics, service support request and PEPconnect. Online help has search capabilities, favorites and a table of contents. Diagnostics includes maintenance and troubleshooting features for the connected analyzers. Service support request allows you to open a ticket to request a call back or chat with your local technical support provider. PEPconnect is the education and performance support experience that includes product specific content for initial training and ongoing operations. Asa Troubleshooting Features, continued The Asa Troubleshooting features also include: Teamviewer This additional tool can be found in the title bar next to the cart list. TeamViewer allows you to grant your technical support provider access to your system, and allows you to chat with the technical support provider, without opening a ticket. Sign Off and On and Switching Software The operator ID and Password are authenticated based on accounts configured on the connected Atellica Solution system After the system verifies the operator sign-in credentials, the operator need not sign in again unless a communication error occurs or the operator signs out manually, the application does not have automatic sign out Option in hamburger menu to switch from Asa software to Operator Tablet Software Sign Off Sign On Select the tab arrows above to learn more Switch to Operator Tablet Software Sign Off and On and Switching Software on Atellica Asa audf_atellica_asa_signonandoff_basenew.mp3 The operator can sign off and back onto the Asa software as well as switch software. You will see four options underneath this menu, select sign out. A prompt window will show up which will allow you to select yes or no. The first area is the title bar, which includes the screen title, TeamViewer, cart list, connection status, the system name and the hamburger menu. The second area is system status. The system status area allows the operator at a glance to view the status of the connected Atellica system module or modules. Lastly the tile area. The tiles allow monitoring of all system supplies, consumables and reagents, as well as the ability to create a supplies list for use when gathering supplies. On the left side of the tile area, there are tiles that provide information on the current status of samples and maintenance. Located on the right side of the tile area, are the tiles that provide information on the Day Needs for supplies, reagents, calibrators, and QC. One of the more important features of the Atellica Asa Application is the Cart List. It can be found here on the tablet display. The cart list allows you to use the Needs screens to create a list of the materials that need to be added to the system to perform daily testing. Finally, the last feature of the display shown is troubleshooting. The troubleshooting tools include access to Online Help, Diagnostics, Service Support Requests and PEPconnect. We will go through this and all the other features more in depth throughout this training. Check System Health Note: The system status map shown here is simply an example of a configuration that a customer could have. Select the yellow module. 1. Check System Health audf_atellica_asa_systemhealth_sim_001.mp3 We will now discuss the system status map. The system status map displays the current status of all the modules in the system utilizing a color code. Green indicates that the module or modules are working and able to process samples. While yellow indicates that the module is in either a maintenance or diagnostics mode. Select the yellow first yellow module in this example to view the maintenance activities that are in progress. Please select the yellow module to continue. Select OK. 2. Check System Health audf_atellica_asa_systemhealth_sim_002.mp3 A list of the in progress maintenance activities displays. Select the ok button to go back to the main screen. Please select OK to continue. Select the red module. 3. Check System Health audf_atellica_asa_systemhealth_sim_003.mp3 If the module is red it has either stopped because of a failure or is unable to process samples. This completes our overview of how to use the system status map to check the health of your Atellica Solution. Check and Perform Maintenance Select the Maintenance tile. 1. Perform Maintenance audf_atellica_asa_performmaint_sim_001.mp3 The maintenance tile enables the operator to easily view the maintenance activities scheduled for the current calendar day. The status color at the top of the tile will be green if no automated maintenance activities are performing, and yellow if at least one automated maintenance activity is performing. The count will indicate the number of maintenance activities that are due for the day, including failed and overdue activities. If you direct your attention to the bottom of the tile you will see the next scheduled automated activity and the next manual activity the operator performs. The next scheduled automated activity does not require operator assistance. You can document completion of manual maintenance activities from the Maintenance screen. To access the Maintenance screen to view more details and perform tasks, select this tile. Please select the Maintenance tile to continue. Note: Select the x at the top of the page to return back to the course 2. Perform Maintenance audf_atellica_asa_performmaint_sim_002.mp3 To view the maintenance activities for a specific module, select its name from the bar at the top. To sort the information, select a column heading. To view a maintenance procedure in Online Help, select the appropriate maintenance activity and then select procedure details. You can also manually start an automated maintenance activity or mark a manual maintenance activity as complete, by selecting the appropriate maintenance activity and then selecting the Perform button. This completes our overview of how to check and perform maintenance. Learn how to add items to your cart list The supply thresholds are configured on the Settings > System Configuration > Alert Settings screen. Select the Supply Needs tile. 1. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_001.mp3 The first step in adding supplies, reagents, calibrator, and/or QC materials to the cart list is to select an appropriate needs tile. Let’s take a look at each of the Needs tiles. The Supply Needs tile displays information about the onboard supplies and their status. The status color will be green if no supplies are below the threshold and will turn red if at least one supply is below the threshold or expired. The count on the Supply Needs tile indicates the number of supplies needed. Please select the Supply Needs tile to continue. Select the Home button. 2. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_002.mp3 The Supply Needs screen provides a more in depth look at the supplies needed. The name, lot, and status for supplies that need to be loaded are listed. To view detailed information for all supplies, select View All Supplies. Now let’s go back to the Asa main screen by selecting the Home button. Please select the Home button to continue. A reagent need will be posted based on the following criteria: Predictive: Suggested need based on the number of tests per day defined by the operator or system historic assay utilization* Below Threshold: The reagent inventory level is below the alert threshold* Pending Orders: There are existing orders in the Worklist and no reagent is onboard for the assay *The predictive forecast and alert threshold are both configured in the Settings > System Configuration > Reagent Requirements Settings screen. The reagent needs for IM diluents and IM/CH wash fluids are posted based only on the Threshold criteria, not based on the prediction. Select the Reagent Needs tile. 3. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_003.mp3 The Reagent Needs tile posts a need for a reagent based on the expected tests for that day compared to the current inventory. The Reagent Needs status color will be green if no reagents are below the threshold and will turn red if at least one reagent is below threshold or a pending order exists for an assay that has no reagent onboard. The count indicates the number of reagents needed. To view more details on the reagent needs, select this tile. Please select the Reagent Needs tile to continue. Select the Home button. 4. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_004.mp3 The Reagent Needs screen provides a more in depth look at the reagents that need to be loaded on the system. To view detailed information for all onboard reagents, select Reagent Overview. Now let’s go back to the Asa main screen by selecting the Home button. Please select the Home button to continue. A need will also be created if a lot calibration is required and no fresh packs are available. 5. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_005.mp3 The Calibrator Needs tile posts a need if the calibrator material is low, expired, or not onboard, AND EITHER a pack or lot calibration will be needed before the end of the current day OR there is a pending calibration order in the Worklist. The threshold for when the banner will turn red is based on the Calibration Expiration Warning setting on the Settings > System Configuration > Alert Settings screen. 6. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_006.mp3 The Calibrator Needs status color will be green if no analyzer has any immediate needs for a calibrator material and will turn red if any analyzer falls within the configured calibration need. Select the Calibrator Needs tile. 7. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_007.mp3 The count on the tile indicates the number of required calibrator materials. To view more details on the calibrator needs, select this tile. Please select the Calibrator Needs tile to continue. Select the Home button. 8. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_008.mp3 The Calibrator Needs screen provides a more in depth look at the calibrators that need to be loaded on the system. Now let’s go back to the Asa main screen by selecting the Home button. Please select the Home button to continue. Select the QC Needs tile. 9. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_009.mp3 The QC Needs tile posts a need if the control material is low, expired, or not onboard AND EITHER the QC scheduler is set up to create an order before the end of the current day OR there is a pending QC order in the Worklist. The QC Needs status color will be green if no analyzer has an immediate need for QC and will turn red if a QC order exists and the QC material is either not onboard, low, or expired. The count on the QC Needs tile indicates the number of required QC materials. To view more details on the QC needs, select this tile. Please select the QC Needs tile to continue. Select the Home button. 10. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_010.mp3 The QC Needs screen provides a more in depth look at the QC materials that need to be loaded on the system. Now let’s go back to the Asa main screen by selecting the Home button. Please select the Home button to continue. Select the Supply Needs tile. 11. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_011.mp3 Now that we’ve reviewed the Needs tiles, let’s discuss how to use these Needs screens to add items to the cart list. The first step in adding supplies, reagents, calibrator, and/or QC materials to the cart list is to select an appropriate needs tile. Let’s use Supply Needs as an example. Please select the Supply Needs tile to continue. 12. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_012.mp3 Place an item in the cart list by selecting the cart list icon in the appropriate row. To add all items to the cart, select add all to cart. Select the Cart List icon. 13. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_013.mp3 Next you can collect materials from your supply location, and the Asa software can assist with that. On the title bar select the cart list icon. Please select the Cart List icon to continue. Note: Select the x at the top of the page to return back to the course 14. Cart List audf_atellica_asa_cartlist _sim_014.mp3 The cart list screen will display the items that have been added to the cart list, sorted by reagents, calibrator, QC, and supplies. Select any titles with non-zero numbers to expand those tables. As you are collecting the appropriate materials from the supply location, you can select the check box in that row to mark the item as complete. Items checked off the list can only be re-added by manually adding again from the needs screen. Use care when checking items off the list. Once the materials are loaded onto the Atellica Solution, the item will no longer display on the Needs screen, and the status color at the top of the Needs tile will change from red to green. This completes our overview of how to use the cart list feature on the Atellica Asa application on your tablet. Check Sample Status Select the STAT Samples tile. 1. Check Sample Status audf_atellica_asa_ checksamples_sim_001.mp3 The status color at the top of the STAT Samples tile will be green if no STAT samples require intervention or all samples that required intervention are ignored, and red if at least one STAT sample requires intervention. The count indicates the number of STAT samples requiring intervention. In the bottom portion of the tile you will see the number of STAT samples in progress and the number of STAT samples that need intervention. To review more information on the STAT samples, select the tile. Please select the STAT Samples tile to continue. Accept can only be performed when a test is in the Hold State. 2. Check Sample Status audf_atellica_asa_ checksamples_sim_002.mp3 On the STAT samples screen, STAT samples that need intervention and that are in process are displayed. To sort the information, select a column heading. To view the errors for a sample with multiple errors, select the row. To accept a test, select the appropriate test and then select Accept. Repeat can be performed when a test is in Hold or Transmit Failed State. Test options, such as changing dilution, cannot be performed when repeating tests. 3. Check Sample Status audf_atellica_asa_ checksamples_sim_003.mp3 To repeat a test, select the appropriate test and then select Repeat. If the sample error cannot be fixed, you can go to the primary user interface and delete it from there. 4. Check Sample Status audf_atellica_asa_ checksamples_sim_004.mp3 The Ignore button allows you to mute the alert on a sample with an error that cannot be resolved. If selected, the Ignore button becomes grey so that you have the option to go back and undo it later. Select the Home button. 5. Check Sample Status audf_atellica_asa_ checksamples_sim_005.mp3 Now to check the status of routine samples, first go back to the Asa main screen by selecting the Home button. Please select the Home button to continue. Select the Routine Samples tile. 6. Check Sample Status audf_atellica_asa_ checksamplestatus_sim_006.mp3 The Routine Samples tile will display a count that indicates the number of routine samples requiring intervention. The bottom portion of the tile includes the number of calibration, QC and routine patient samples that need intervention. To review more information on the routine samples, select the tile. Please select the Routine Samples tile to continue. 7. Check Sample Status audf_atellica_asa_ checksamples_sim_007.mp3 The Routine Samples screen displays Calibration, QC, and Patient samples. To expand a table, select its title. In this example, we see information pertaining to the patient samples. Same as with STAT samples, to sort the information, select a column heading.
