To disconnect the lamp connection, squeeze the sides and pull apart EP10942852A-12 11. Loosen the thumbscrews. Pull the lamp out and discard per laboratory protocol 12. Insert the replacement lamp into the housing. Line up the pin on the lamp housing with the matching slot on the source lamp base 13. Rotate the lamp into the housing until it slides into place 14. Reconnect the lamp connection and tighten the thumbscrews 15. Turn the lamp on by pressing the raised power button on J9 the left side 16. Reinstall the access plate 17. Close the back cover 18. Select Continue > Close Note: Do not touch the glass portion of the lamp. This can cause damage to the lamp. Open the IMT fluids lid 4. To scan a new A-LYTE multisensor: • For a Sample Handler configuration, use the module display • For a Direct Load configuration, use the handheld barcode reader 5. Ensure the Lot, Sequence, and Expiration display correctly 6. Remove the A-LYTE multisensor. To release the multisensor, pull down the sensor access latch. Discard per laboratory protocol 7. Insert a new multisensor with label facing forward 8. Push up the latch and close the IMT fluids lid 9. Perform 1 of the following, as appropriate: • From the module display (Sample Handler configuration), select OK • From the primary display (Direct Load configuration), select Save 10. The IMT will automatically prime, condition, and calibrate.
