Atellica® Data Manager Reset QC Severity Job Aid

This job aid provides instructions on how to reset QC severity when the assay QC severity of a given QC result exceeds the assay QC severity limit.

Reset QC Severity Atellica® Data Manager Reset QC Severity After the assay QC severity of a given QC result exceeds the assay QC severity limit, the Test, Instrument, and String value columns of all subsequent QC results remain red until the QC problem is addressed and operators perform the Reset Severity function. 1. From the Command bar, select QC 2. Select the Results tab Note: Additionally, the QC Results tab can be accessed from Review and Edit by right clicking on a result and selecting View QC. 3. Select the QC result associated with the assay that needs resetting  Operators can reset the severity of multiple assays by selecting multiple QC results 4. Select the Enable Test After Reset checkbox, if appropriate 6. Enter a comment Note: If the current QC severity is not equal to or higher than the QC severity limit, the system will not store the comment in the database. 7.
