Monitor, keyboard, and mouse – keyboard and mouse can fold back under the monitor B. Visual status light – primary status light is mounted to the top of the monitor. The indicator lights will display green, yellow, or red, depending on the status of the system. Ambient temperature and humidity sensor is part of the status light assembly C A C. Barcode reader – used to scan sample tube labels before test processing and to input bulk fluid consumables on the attached analyzer 0 D. Sample rack lanes – a magnetic conveyor system controls the movement of racks along the lanes. Sensors are located on the lanes to 2 automatically advance racks through the system 1 D 1. Entry queue – sample tube racks are sent through the analyzer by placing racks in the entry queue. Maximum capacity of 10 racks (60 sample tubes) 2. Exit queue – once aspiration is complete, the sample tube racks exit the system via the exit queue. Maximum capacity of 10 racks NOTE: The system computer is located in the compartment beneath the sample rack lanes (not shown in this image). There are two available USB ports on the system computer that can be used for data transfer. 2 Effective Date: 5/21/2018 | HOOD05162002868808 Unrestricted © Siemens Healthcare GmbH, 2018 Atellica® Direct Load SIEMENS Hardware Overview Healthineers Interior Components – accessed by removing back cover A. 2 vision cameras – located in the back of the sample rack lanes. Identify rack ID barcodes, tube ID barcodes, tube size adaptors, tube top cups, and sample tubes without caps. Each camera B processes the images for 1 side of the rack B. Rack shuttle – transfers sample racks from the entry queue into the rack positioner and presents the sample racks to the vision MINI VISION system for sample identification A A C. Sensors – detects the sample racks as they are transferred D between the rack shuttle and the sample rack lanes C C D. Rack positioner – moves the sample rack to the analyzer sampling points. The analyzer has 2 sampling points for the 2 rows of sample positions on the rack. After the analyzer processes all 6 positions of the rack, the rack positioner moves the rack under the shuttle carrier toward the exit queue. The rack goes through a gate, and moves forward as the operator unloads any racks in front of it on the exit queue 3 Effective Date: 5/21/2018 | HOOD05162002868808 Unrestricted © Siemens Healthcare GmbH, 2018 Atellica® Direct Load SIEMENS Hardware Overview Healthineers Sample Racks • Each sample rack has 6 tube positions • The racks are available in a variety of colors o In the default configuration, the system does not distinguish between different rack colors o There is a configuration option available to assign a specific . - P0020086 tube size to a rack color. If this configuration is used, the system will disregard the tube characteristic data from the vision cameras • The default tube size is 16 x 100mm. Adaptors are used to support shorter and smaller diameter tubes • Tube top cups are automatically detected when placed on top of NOTE: Sample containers with caps are not supported. supported tubes • The system supports both barcoded and non-barcoded tubes NOTE: Refer to the Atellica Solution Operator Guide for a complete list of the supported sample containers. 4 Effective Date: 5/21/2018 | HOOD05162002868808 Unrestricted © Siemens Healthcare GmbH, 2018 SIEMENS Healthineers Please note that the learning material is for training purposes only!
