Android Handheld Scanner Job Aid Atellica® Inventory Manager This job aid provides information about the new Android handheld scanner (Model MC3330R) available in the Atellica Inventory Manager. Use the Atellica IN Handheld application on the handheld scanner to complete the following actions: · Check in pre-labeled items · Check in items using RFID labels · Check out items to remove from inventory · Transfer inventory items to a new lab/location · Reconcile physical inventory within a storage location The following are some navigational tips: · If the screen times out, quickly press the red power button to restore the screen. Swipe up from the bottom of the display to access the Main Menu screen · Tapping on the O (circle) at the bottom center of the screen returns you to the main screen · Tapping on the < (back button) at the bottom left of the screen returns you to the previous screen Power On and Log In to the Handheld Scanner (if necessary) 1. Use the default lab and default location settings on the handheld scanner to direct items to that location if the shipping box being checked in is not associated with an order or if the ordering rule for an item does not have a default location. Check these settings on the handheld before checking in a shipping box. 1. To access the Configuration settings, select the Menu icon 2. Select Settings > Configuration 3. Confirm the Default Lab and Default Storage locations on the Configuration tab in Settings are correct for the items you are checking in 2. Locate the Shipping Box ID barcode on the shipping boxes 3. Select Check In on the Main Menu. The Box tab displays Pre-Labeled Check In Box Verify Check-In Details Shipping Box ID Delivery Number Product Qty Check-in 4. Open the box and start by arranging all the labeled items of a single product in one area and keep each product separate from the others. Configure Settings for RFID Tag Scanning 1. Select the Menu icon = 2. Select Settings > Configuration 3. Confirm the Default Lab and Default Location are correct for the location to check in the items. If the Default Lab and Default Location are not correct, select Change and make the appropriate changes 4. In the Check-in Mode drop-down menu, select RFID Tags Settings Configuration Advanced Default Lab: Central Laboratory Change Default Location: Chem Refrigerator/Middle Door Change Check-in Mode: Shipping Box ID RFID Tags Sign out(min): 30 5. On the Main Menu, select Check-In. The RFID Tags Check-In window displays 2. With the RFID Tags Check-In window open, scan the RFID label on the box. The last 5 digits of the SGTIN display RFID Tags Check-In SGTIN OD9DD OD9DA OD9DC 0 OD9DB Get Product Name Change Location Delete Selected Check-in 3. To view details about an item on the list before checking it in, select the item. To clear the screen and rescan the items, select the SGTIN check box a. Select Get Product Name to view the product name of the item b. Select Delete Selected to remove that item from being checked in c. Select Change Location if the location for this item is different than what was set as the Default Location 4. Select Check-In. To scan additional items, return to the Main Menu screen by selecting the < (back arrow), then repeat the Check In procedure The row color indicates the check-in status for each item. If item check in is successful, the row color changes to green, and the product name and check in location display. If the item fails check in, the row color changes to red with a failure message. Physically remove items to be checked out from the storage location 2. On the Main Menu, select Check Out 3. Select the appropriate reason code for the checkout from the Check Out Reason Code drop-down menu Check Out Check-Out Reason Code: Consumption Damaged Expired Transfer to 3rd Party Transfer to Lab Clear Check Out 1) Ready 4. Scan the RFID labels of those items that need to be checked out. You can select the product row to view the scanned SGTINs for that product. The scanned SGTINs display in a separate window 5. Navigate back to the Check Out screen 6. Select any items that should not be checked out and select Clear 7. Select the items to check out from the inventory. Use the header check box to select all items 8. Select Check Out to send the results of the scan to the Atellica Inventory Manager web application. When the check-out operation completes, a message displays that the check out request is sent 9. Physically remove the items to be transferred from the storage location 2. On the Main Menu, select Inventory Transfer 3. Select the plus sign (+) next to the lab name to open a tree view of the storable locations 4. Continue selecting the plus sign to expand the tree view to display the locations 5. Select the location the items are being transferred to. Storable locations have a white background 6. Scan the RFID labels of those items that need to be transferred. The last 5 digits of the scanned SGTINs display. The results of the scan are sent to the Atellica Inventory Manager web application for further reconciliation. 1. On the Main Menu, select Inventory Check 2. Select the plus sign (+) next to the lab name to open a tree view of the storable locations 3. Select a storable location (white background). View a list of products and expected quantities of each product before scanning the items 5. Press and hold the handheld scanner trigger to scan the selected storage location. When releasing the trigger, the list of products on the screen updates with the results of the scan. Colors indicate the item status: · Green - All expected items have been found · Orange - Not all expected items were found. Re-scan those products to see if any additional RFID labels can be read. A manual count of the items may also be helpful. If there are fewer items than expected, check the items out in the Atellica Inventory Manager web application · Yellow - Unexpected items were found. Unexpected items are either items that the system registered as consumed, but need to be checked back in, or items picked up in the scan from adjacent locations, which can be ignored. If the expected value of items is zero, remove these lines by selecting Clear Note: Unexpected products are not shown by default. A slider at the top of the inventory list can be used to show unexpected products. 7. You can select the product row to view the scanned SGTINs for that product. The scanned SGTINs display in a separate window 8. Navigate back to the Inventory Check screen 9. Select any items that should not be included in the inventory check and select Clear 10. Select the items to be reconciled in the Atellica Inventory Manager web application. Use the header check box to select all items 11.Select Finish to send the scan results to the web application 12.
