Body Coil 60 (Numaris X) syngo MR Systems with Numaris X The combination of two Body 30 Coils (anterior /posterior) is referred to as “Body 60.” The Body Coil 60 enables examinations of the upper body, abdomen/liver, pelvis and heart. Together with a second Body 30 as anterior coil, this setup is called “Body 60”. 1. The spine coil or table pads are removed from the patient table 2. Lay the Body 30 with the coil cables on the upper side on a plane surface a. Fix the coil cables on the cable holders on the lower side of the frame 4. Connect the adapter to the spine coil sockets 5. Insert the frame with the posterior coil in the T-shaped grooves on both sides of the patient table 6. Connect the posterior coil to the adapter coil sockets 8. Position the Body 30 table pad 4 on the adapter and fold it down to cover the coil sockets 9. Position the table pads on the patient table as required for the current coil position 10. Position the anterior coil on the and secure the coil with the Velcro strap a. Note: When you use the Body 60 setup, ensure that the posterior and the anterior coils are positioned accurately above each other to avoid possible image artifacts 12. Connect the anterior coil to coil sockets 1 and 2 13. Secure the coil cables with the cable holders 14. Align the laser-light localizer with the center of the region of interest 15. Start the measurement 16.
