Describe the CentraLink System Network and Dataflow The CentraLink system is a multi-system data manager for instruments and lab automation systems (LAS).  It consolidates data from all connected instruments to be viewed in a single location. State the steps to Log on and off the CentraLink System To access the CentraLink system workspace, you must log on using the CentraLink icon on the desktop. CentraLink System Network and Dataflow The CentraLink system is a multi-system data manager for instruments and lab automation systems (LAS).  It consolidates data from all connected instruments to be viewed in a single location.   CentraLink® Dataflow Learn about the CentraLink system dataflow. The CentraLink system can be configured with the following: 1 or 2 Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), 1 or 2 Laboratory Automation Systems (LAS), up to 15 concurrent user workstation sessions, and up to 32 analyzers Select the X in the upper-right corner to close the window and continue. Log on and off the CentraLink System To access the CentraLink system workspace, you must log on using the CentraLink icon on the desktop. Note: When you log in for the first time you must select a role. Once you have logged on the system, your user name will be displayed on the status bar. Base ImageHotspotsText BlocksImage File The Editing toolbar contains icons for common tasks that apply to an open window such as:     • Open     • Save     • Find Data The Menu Bar displays the CentraLink software menus.  The menu items vary depending on the windows open in the workspace. (e.g. The Record menu is not active until a window, such as Samples, is open.) The Function toolbar contains icons for commonly used functions. Each function opens a window. The first group of functions on the toolbar can also be located by selecting Start > Routine from the Menu bar. The Status bar displays messages, workstation name and the current user.
