This video provides instructions on how to change the API of one scan range when operating a SOMATOM go. platform scanner. The CT system provides prerecorded automatic patient instructions consisting of three pre recorded instructions including expiration inspiration. Do not swallow, and in addition, specific instructions for cardiac and perfusion. This movie will show you the steps for how to change an automatic patient instruction for one scan range to begin, navigate to the timeline and hover over each scan range to display the audio control window and view the current patient instruction for that scan range. Notice the patient instruction for both scan ranges is inspiration for this simulation. We will change the patient instructions for the long low dose scan to expiration. Next, right click the highlighted area in front of the scan range you want to change the patient instruction for. Select delete to delete the patient instruction for that scan range. Right click the scan range. A context menu opens from the context menu, select Open Edit mode. The Edit Mode toolbar will display above the timeline. Navigate to the audio control area and deselect apply to all. Select the patient instruction dropdown. And select expiration. Select the command icon and drag it to the highlighted area in front of the scan range in the timeline. The patient instruction has now been changed to expiration.
