Removing the Anti-scatter Grid 1. A screw is located at the front of the grid on the detector housing. Carefully pull the grid out of the holder. C 3. Put it in a safe place and ensure it does not get dropped or damaged. A damaged grid can reduce the image quality. 4. After removing the grid, check that the icon for Anti-scatter grid inserted on the control panel and on the left monitor display is struck through. Slide the grid into the detector housing. 2. Ensure that the labels of the grid are facing outwards. When the grid is in position, tighten the screw by turning it clockwise. Check whether the grid is secure before moving the C-arm. Do NOT overtighten the screw to prevent damage to the grid. 4. After inserting the grid, check that the icon for Anti-scatter grid inserted on the control panel and on the left monitor display is no longer struck through.
