Cios Flow: System Start-up Job Aid Advanced Therapies Mobile C-arms – Cios Flow VA30G This Job Aid explains what you need to consider before starting the system and which steps need to be performed for the system start up. Before connecting the C-arm system with other components, please ensure that plugs and connectors are clean and dry. Do not use damaged cables and plugs. Make sure that the C-arm system brakes are locked using the steering lever. The red indicator shows that the brakes are locked (see image below). Connect the C-arm system to the monitor trolley by plugging the central plug into the socket on the left side of the C-arm system. The switch must be in vertical position. Turn the central plug switch to the right until it locks into place. You can hear a clicking sound. Central Plug SIEMENS 2. On the C-arm system, plug the footswitch cable into the socket labeled with the footswitch symbol. To establish the power connection of the system, plug the monitor trolley power plug into an appropriate socket to establish the power connection of the system. 4. Switch the system on by pressing the ON button on the monitor trolley. OFF ON SONY 5. The system automatically runs a self-test. On the control panel, all LEDs light up for approximately two seconds as a function test and then switch off automatically.Do not press any key during the self-test. An audible signal sounds while the system starts up. During start-up, a start-up screen is displayed on the left monitor stating the current software version of your system.
