Cios Systems Training Video - Registering and Exporting Patient Data

This video will review registering, correcting, and exporting patient data.

Welcome to training on registering and exporting patient data. In this video we will show you how to register a patient, correct patient data and export exams. Once your procedure is complete. Let's start with patient registration. At the beginning of any procedure, the first thing to do is select your procedure on the Touch user interface by choosing the appropriate dropdown. Then you will need to register your patient. There are three different ways you can register a patient. You can pull from the work list. You will need to be connected to PAX prior to using this option. You can do this by plugging in your Ethernet cable to the side of the system and the other end to your passport. If you have a wireless connection to PAX, ensure the button on the side of the system is enabled. On the control panel, select work list. Highlight the patient name using the mouse, then left double Click to proceed with the exam. Another way you can register your patient is by doing a manual entry. Begin by selecting the new patient icon on the Touch user interface. Then fill in the boat areas using the on screen keyboard. If this step is not complete, you will not be able to begin the exam. After all, the information in bold is added, select examination on the monitor. The 3rd way you can register a patient is by doing a quick entry. If you do not have your patients information, or if there is not enough time to add the patient data, simply select emergency patient on the touch user interface and the exam will begin. You will know you're ready to begin your exam once the green bar indicator appears on the control panel and ready is selected on the left monitor. These indicators will be present after any of the previously discussed methods for patient registration. Next, let's learn how to correct patient data. If you need to make any changes to the patient's information, single Left click on the patient's name using the mouse, then select show patient data on the Touch user interface. Make the appropriate changes using the onscreen keyboard. Once your corrections have been made, select correct patient data again to save the changes. Lastly, let's examine how to export your exams. When you are ready to export your exam, you will need to make sure that either your Ethernet cable is again plugged into the system and the passport, or you were wirelessly connected to the pack system. Select overview on the Touch user interface. Mark your desired frames by selecting the multi selection icon and then tapping the desired images. Next, select the export icon on the Left monitor using your mouse. Your DICOM information will be set to the default settings. Select marked from the transfer dropdown, followed by clicking the export button below. You have now exported your images. And that's it. For this brief tutorial on registering patient data and exporting exams. Until next time.
