CLINITEK Novus® Analyzer Cleaning the SG Well Video

This video provides instructions on how to clean the SG well on the CLINITEK Novus® Analyzer, including how to prepare the sample rack.

The SG well cleaning message appears in the status log when it's been 24 hours since the last time. The SG well was cleaned, the status of the clinic Tech novice is not ready. Patient samples and controls cannot be run until the SG well is cleaned. From the Home Screen, select system to navigate to the procedure. From the system menu, select Clean SG well. Prepare the rack as stated in the instructions here. When preparing the bleach, the concentration should not exceed 5.25% sodium hypochlorite. Place the rack on the rack handler and then select start. The cleaning cycle takes about 3 minutes to complete. You won't be able to navigate to other menus until the cycle is complete. A progress bar appears to indicate the amount of time left. When the cleaning cycle is complete, the software returns to the system menu. From here, select the home button to return to the home screen. The SG well cleaning message is gone and the system is now ready for testing.
