Congratulations. You have completed the CLINITEK Status® Connect System Software version 2.6 Update Online Training course. Listed below are the key points that have been presented. Take time to review the material before you proceed to the final quiz. Describe the new features available in the software WPA2-PSK Wireless Security - Addition of WPA2- PSK wireless security protocols when using wireless connectivity. Automatic Result Transmission - Automatic result transmission if there is a break in the LIS transmission.  The system will automatically transmit all unsent patient and QC results when the LIS connection is restored. User-defined Barcode Formats - Provides the ability to create custom barcodes for Operator ID, Patient ID, Strip Quality Control Lot and Expiration, and Cassette Quality Control Lot and Expiration. QC Buffer - Allows a QC test to be performed within a specified buffer time period before the next scheduled QC test is due. A successful QC test within the buffer time period overrides the next QC prompt and scheduled test. QC Rolling 24 hour clock - Clock now based on 24-hour rolling schedule. Time Sync - The system automatically synchronizes the time and date with the host system, if the host system supports the time sync feature. Identify software enhancements to improve functionality Managing Failed QC Tests - If QC fails, it will not be necessary to run all levels of QC again. Only the failed levels will need to be reprocessed. Last Lot - A configurable option to use the last lot information for urinalysis strip tests and hCG cassette tests. When enabled, this feature allows manual input of lot information or retention of lot information from the previous test. Patient Recall - The automatic highlight of the most recent patient on the Select Patient screen has been removed. The arrow keys must be used to select the desired patient. Select Next to continue. Feature Description Impact WPA2-PSK Wireless Security Addition of WPA2-PSK wireless security protocols, when using wireless connectivity. Increase patient and data security with your wireless connections by incorporating this latest enhancement. Automatic Result Transmission Automatic result transmission if there is a break in the LIS transmission.  The system will automatically transmit all unsent patient and QC results when the LIS connection is restored.   Ensures that no patient results are lost due to a faulty connection, loss in power, or any other disruption. User-defined Barcode Formats Provides the ability to create custom barcodes for Operator ID, Patient ID, Strip Quality Control Lot and Expiration, and Cassette Quality Control Lot and Expiration. Improve control over your POC urinalysis testing program by specifically designating which barcodes can be used, and also create your own barcodes for QC products that may not have barcodes. QC Buffer Allows a QC test to be performed within a specified buffer time period before the next scheduled QC test is due. A successful QC test within the buffer time period overrides the next QC prompt and scheduled test.   Increase flexibility of your QC testing by allowing for QC tests to be run ahead of schedule to maximize efficiency, and accommodate your user's busy testing schedule. QC Rolling 24 hour clock Clock now based on 24-hour rolling schedule. Improve efficiency with this customer satisfaction improvement that allows for QC to be scheduled using a 24 hour rolling clock. Time Sync The system automatically synchronizes the time and date with the host system, if the host system supports the time sync feature.   This feature ensures the time stamp of all tests between the LIS and Instrument match exactly, better controlling your testing environment.   Creating User-Defined Barcodes Learn about creating user-defined barcodes. Last Lot A configurable option to use the last lot information for urinalysis strip tests and hCG cassette tests. When enabled, this feature allows manual input of lot information or retention of lot information from the previous test.   Increase flexibility and control over your POC urine testing program by either allowing for users to choose lots previously used, or force them to enter the information with each test. Patient Recall The automatic highlight of the most recent patient on the Select Patient screen has been removed.
