Disinfecting the Test Table and Insert Video
This video provides instructions on how to disinfect the Test Table and Insert on your CLINITEK Status®+ Analyzer as part of maintenance activities or when the analyzer is moved or transported. Instructions include how prepare the disinfecting solution.
Disinfecting the test table. An insert prevents contamination. This is important especially if the analyzer is moved or transported. Begin by preparing a disinfecting solution in a tall, narrow container to a depth of about four inches or 10 centimeters. Place the insert and test table into the solution. Make sure that the white calibration bar on the test table remains above the liquid level. Do not cover the container while the test table is soaking. Soak the table and insert for at least two minutes but no longer than 10 minutes. Rinse the test table an insert thoroughly. Be sure to use distilled water for rinsing using a soft cloth. Dry the insert an table and replacing the analyzer. Always make sure that the white calibration bar is facing upward and away from you when inserting the test table into the instrument.
