Creating CT and PET Dose Reports

This job aid will assist the user in creating reports for both PET and CT that reflect the dose that the patient received from the Exam. The Dose Report is created according to the DICOM standard, which summarizes examination data and dose values as a DICOM Structured Report (SR). The Dose Report is created automatically by the system at the end of an examination and can be found in the Patient Browser. This job aid applies to Biograph Vision, mCT (VG7xx) and Horizon scanners.

Creating CT and PET Dose Reports Biograph Vision, mCT and Horizon Description: This job aid will assist the user in creating reports for both PET and CT that reflect the dose that the patient received from the Exam. The Dose Report is created according to the DICOM standard, which summarizes examination data and dose values as a DICOM Structured Report (SR). The Dose Report is created automatically by the system at the end of an examina- tion and can be found in the Patient Browser. This job aid applies to Biograph Vision, mCT (VG7xx) and Horizon scanners. Creating a CT Dose Report 1. Configure the CT Dose Report by enabling it in the following menu: Options à Configuration à Examination à Dose. 2. Make sure the Dose Report checkbox is selected. 3. If you would like the report to be automatically transferred to another system, check the Auto Transfer checkbox. 4. Click Apply to save the changes.
