Determining Calibration Needs on the Atellica® Solution Video Version 1.25 and Below

This video provides instructions on how to determine Calibration Needs on the Atellica® Solution.  For optimal viewing, select the arrows on the right of the playbar after the video begins.

This video will show how to view the calibrations that need to be performed on the system. To access the calibration needs screen, first select inventory on the command bar, then select the calibration needs tab. A calibration need will be posted if a pack or lot calibration will be needed before the current dans or if there is a pending calibration order in the work list I need will also be created if a lot calibration is required and no fresh packs are available. In this case the comment field will display no valid pack on board I need is red when the calibration is due to expire within the threshold set on the alert settings screen and there is no calibrater material available. If the all check box at the bottom of the screen is not checked, only needs four orders in which the calibrater material is not available, will display. This is the default setting. The onboard status column indicates whether the calibrater material is on board or not on board. If the status is on board, the material could be in either a sample handler drawer or in the County a see storage area in this example, since the All Check box at the bottom of the screen is not checked, all of the calibrater materials are not on board. The common column lists the level or levels of calibrater material needed. This column will display the message no valid pack on board. If a lot calibration is required and no fresh packs are available, the assay column displays the assays impacted by the calibration need. The calibration expiration column displays the expiration date and time of the current calibration interval that requires calibration. The reagent Laden pack column displays the appropriate reagent pack lot. If the order does not specify a reagent pack lot, the word any will be displayed. The analyzer column lists the analyzer or analyzer's associated with the calibration. The storable column indicates whether the calibrater material is storable on board. The group by Calibrater material checkbox can be used to group the calibrater materials by Calibrater name. To consolidate the list, collapse each control name using the arrow to the left of the Calibrater name. To create an order for a calibrater material that is on board, select the calibrater and then select the Create Cal order button. To print the calibration needs, select the print icon in the status bar. This concludes our overview of using the calibration needs screen.
