Cleaning HM Wash Probe Video

The HM Wash probes must be cleaned weekly to prevent residue buildup. From the operating menu, go to the pump prime screen to prevent any automatic priming of the HM Wash probes. To display the pump prime screen, press F for system prep. F7 pump prime. F6, HM. Raise the IMT lid. Insert a strong, slender tool into the reagent lid. Latch and press firmly to raise the lid. Next, dip a clean cotton swab in water. Beginning at the top of the probe, wipe down the outside of a wash station probe. Dispose the cotton swab into a biohazard waste container. Use a new cotton swab to clean each of the HM Wash probes. Press F1 HM Wash pump to prime the HM Wash pumps. Complete the procedure by documenting the cleaning on the weekly maintenance log sheet.
