When you open the 3D image processing card, the transverse segment is selected initially. The blue border of this segment is shown thicker than the borders of the other segments and the image on the right monitor also shows a blue border. The position and orientation of each MPR view is shown as a colored reference line in the other views. An orientation cube in each view also shows the orientation of each view.
