Elara/Mira Max: Performing an Emergency or Downtime Exam

This SBS will walk the user through how to perform an exam on both the Mira
and/or Elara Max systems when the RIS worklist is not working.

Performing an Emergency or Downtime Exam Mira or Elara Max If RIS worklist is down and you are unable to refresh your worklist or locate your patient you may use the following work-flow: 1. While in “Patient” sub-tab, select the icon to manually Patient Settings Service register patient: + FO RIS RIS 2. Enter any requested bold fields. • When patient information is not available (emergency patient), bypass bold fields and select “Emergency” in lower left corner. i. Select OGP views or exams you wish to complete and select “Examination”. ii. Perform Study 3. Once you have performed the exam, you may modify this study. • To do so, you will return to the main “Patient” tab and select the following icon from the “Patient” sub-tab. 4. Make any necessary changes to patient information: • Name, Patient ID#, DOB, Gender, or any other bold fields. • If an Accession number is now available, you may also enter it at this time. • When you have corrected any missing demographics you can return to patient exam and send images through the “Documentation” tab.
