eSie LVA - TEE and TTE

This is a short video reviewing the steps of performing eSie LVA for both TEE and TTE

So we're going to cover the left ventricular analysis software before we launch the software. It's important that you look at your volume and reference planes and note a few things. First of all, in the upper right corner of the volume, what is your volume rate and is that acceptable for the case you're about to analyze? Secondly, look at your reference planes AB&C. Have you captured the entire ventricle? This is important for accurate tracking. I'm going to launch the tracking by hovering my mouse over the thumbnail. Using my next key to right click for the menu and left click select on left ventricular analysis. This could take a couple of moments depending on if you have multiple beats. Be aware it's a knowledge based software, it's searching for certain landmarks and when it is complete you will see the tracking. So tracking is complete and the first thing you'll want to do is look at your tracking and AB&C planes. We do offer the option to edit. I'm hovering my mouse over the edit contours, blind. Be aware that if you choose to edit that editing in any plane. Causes changes in all three planes. If you do edit, be sure to save your changes via one of these selections here. And then go to your back to your analysis screen. Here in the analysis screen, if you're pleased with your tracking contours, you'll be able to see your end diastolic and systolic volumes, and your ejection fraction.
