Expert-i for MI SPECT/CT & SPECT This document explains how to use the Expert-i remote connection, which allows interac- tive assistance to answer clinical questions and perform remote reconstruction. Experts can view or have full mouse control of the system interface for all activities except for those which cause motion or radiation. Expert-i is available on MI Apps version VB22. Expert-i allows:  Reading physicians to have remote reconstruction capabilities  Technologists to get quick feedback on acquisition questions to ensure all images needed to make a diagnosis are acquired. Note: Expert-i client is available on syngo.via or can be installed on a hospital networked PC. Detailed instructions for Expert-i client installation and configuration can be found in the Expert-i client - Instructions for Use. Two Connection Modes:  Direct Login – A workplace-specific password is specified by the local user during initial configuration of Direct Login. This password can be used for all Expert-i cli- ent sessions with the system. The access level for Direct Login is Full Access.  Single Session – The local user selects an access level, Full Access or View Only, and generates a one-time password which is given to the remote user and input ac- cordingly to allow remote connection to the system. o Full Access – The remote user can perform all activities, including opening workflows, viewing of data, post-processing, registration, and reconstruc- tion, except those which:  start, pause, prepare, or stop an acquisition  initiate motion including starting all acquisition types, changing de- tector configuration, or a collimator change  initiate radiation o View Only - The remote user can view the scan UI but will not be able to in- teract directly with the scanner system. The technologist has full control over the system. The remote user will be able to display a “read-only mouse” which will look like a red dot to the local user.
