Exporting or Restoring a Database on the FLC Max

Exporting or restoring a database on the FL C Max. Before you begin, make sure you have the desired programs and exams editor or Pex database on a USB drive. If you restoring your loading the database to the system. If you're backing up the system specs database, a USB drive will also be needed. Place the USB into the system tower located on the front top left corner. Once inserted using the mouse, select the settings sub tab on the Fluoro spot compact or FL, see then select the Pex editor icon. To back the database up to the system, select either the C or D drive and then select go. Once the backup is finished, a dialog box will display a successful backup. Select OK. A Will display on the selected drive, displaying a new backup with the time date stamp of the backup. Once finished, close out of the dialog box. Note to back the database up to the USB drive, select the drive. In this case the F drive and select go. To restore a database from the USB drive to the system, select restore import from the database Export Import section, then select the + beside the USB drive. In this case the F drive. The available databases will display. Be sure to highlight the correct database, typically identified with the hospital name or with a date and time stamp. With the desired database highlighted, deselect both checkboxes for restore stand positions and assured data consistency. Then select go. A green bar will move across the bottom of the dialog box, showing that the database is actively loading. Once loaded, a pop up box will display stating a successful restore. Select OK and the system will close out of the Pex editor and open to the login screen. Close out of the Pex editor and the system is ready to use.
